This album... honestly, it captivates me. The unorthodox riffs of this band just blows my mind. I listen to bands like this, and it makes me wonder why these guys didn't hit it bigger than Metallica. To me, this band is ingenious. These guys are about to tour again for the first time since Piggy passed on, and I hope they pay a visit down here. Jason Newsted has been out with an injury, but he's coming back. Hopefully better than ever.
Its not necessarily thrashy in a sense, but its just a blur of riffs and great vocals that just makes you want to rock out. I first listened to this album when i burned it for myself, to have in my car. Listened to it once, became a complete fan. These guys have this "whatever" attitude that makes you think back to your high school days when you were trying to form a band. That's how it at least feels like to me, but this is definitely worth checking out from beginning to end. Hope these guys tour around here sometime, I'd love to see them.
